about

A dream that i noted in my journal and ended up making a song about it

lyrics

Blinking red that you peek from the highway
i'm cramped inside it,
double-panned window
and some toys too
keep me occupied
I think I'm ready.
Stopping down the split-end doors to exit the tree house
I breathe in fresh air.

Snowflakes taste like freedom
when they touch the tip of my tongue
I jump from the balcony
and airplane with no destination
keep soaring faster
high above peaks of catholic churches
a lack of stimulation that my room is always missing.

Floating in the sky under light of the beauty
I feel the blood moon push and pull the tides
my heart mimics the motion. The way it should be
One in a million chance the Earth loses its shadow
What do you reference?
When everything
Breaks who I am now

I've boiled down a conclusion:
I'm nothing more than a speck of dust
that appears floating in your living room
when the light hits me at the right angle.
keep letting your box fan
push and pull me around
I'm feeling less than insignificant
than I did before this started.

Another Bulb Burned Out, the band's sophomore album is much more directly influenced by folk rock. As chief lyricist and songwriter, Dean visualizes a thematic listening experience, and Ben translates these ideas into working songs, resulting in harmony between mind and matter. ... more
